Easy Applesauce Cake

| 1/2 | c | Shortening |

| 1 1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
| 1/4 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
| 1/2 | ts | Ground cloves |
| 1/2 | ts | Ground allspice |
| 1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
| 1/4 | ts | Baking powder |
| 1 | c | Raisins (dusted with 1 teaspoon flour) |
| 1/2 | c | Chopped walnuts (optional..I leave out because of the kid's nut allergy...but better with the nuts, yum...) |
