| 1 | Bottle (six-ounce) liquid pectin -or- | |
| 2 | Pouches (three-ounce) of liquid pectin | |
| 3 | dr | Red or green food coloring (optional but sometimes it comes out a funky color without a bit of help) , more or less |
| 6 | Half-pint canning jars or jelly jars |
